As part of Nikon’s “I Am Generation Image” campaign, Nikon sent complete pro quality DSLR camera kits to various people, asking them to document their lifestyle and the things they are most passionate about. The participants included Becky Chicoine and Sam Reece (a comedy due called Girls with Brown Hair), Darren Jefferies (urban cyclist), Rikki Mendias (advocate for the homeless), The Berzins (tiny house homesteaders), Mary Mattern (vegan chef) and Kordale and Kaleb (Dads).

If you haven’t seen this epic drone video yet, it should help you get over the Monday blues. (And even if you’ve already seen it, it’s definitely worth watching again for a few laughs.)

Lots of people do dumb things with their imaging drones but this is one of the dumber – though oddly satisfying – clips we’ve seen.

Our own Jon “The Bag Man” Sienkiewicz knows a thing or two about photo bags – check out his takes on the latest Domke, Manfrotto, and Vanguard models – but we’re guessing his collection of camera packs, pouches and satchels doesn’t rival David Alan Harvey’s.

Let say you have 50 Canon EOS-1D X professional digital SLRs lying around, and are looking for something to do with them. Here’s a fun idea: create a stunning bullet-time shot that appears to freeze the action, and then somersaults 360 degrees over your subject for an out-of-this-world effect.

If you’re not so sure about DxO Mark’s much-discussed, negative review of the Canon 7D Mark II and you’ve got some free time on your hands (over 34 minutes, to be precise), you’ll want to check out the below video from photographer Tony Northrup. Titled “7D Mark II Image Quality: Is it as bad as DxO Mark Says,” the video breaks down DxO’s numbers and finds that Canon’s newest DSLR might be quite a bit better than that controversial review contends.
