As you might guess from the photographs, Allison's main interest is music, with photography "a serious hobby." A senior at Hillsborough High School, she will attend Douglass College at Rutgers University in New Jersey this fall. Her main concentration will be on music, but she plans to take photography classes as well.

Her high school photo courses are part of her art studies. "I think I prefer photography to the other art courses," she says, "because there's less emphasis on exercises and more on assignments--going out and taking pictures." She especially likes working in the studio, enjoying the control over composition and lighting that the studio environment offers.
