Fujifilm Launches Sleek New Instax Mini 70 Instant Camera with Auto Exposure Control and Flash

Fujifilm has launched a new instant film camera with a more slender profile and automatic exposure control: the Instax Mini 70. The new Instax Mini 70 features an updated, sleek design with a special Selfie mode and a powerful flash that automatically calculates surrounding brightness and adjusts shutter speeds.

Fujifilm is expanding the Instax line to give users even more options for taking instant pictures that can be shared quickly in-person and online with #myinstax. The easy-to-use Instax Mini 70 offers many features and enhancements including: an improved viewfinder (for enhanced subject viewing), automatic exposure and flash functions, a High-Key mode (enables users to take brighter photos), and a Smart Selfie mode that automatically adjusts settings for perfect selfies using the front-facing selfie mirror.

The Fuji Instax Mini 70 also has a tripod mount for up-close shots and clear landscape photos.

Fuji Instax Mini 70 photos can be passed around, viewed and shared right away anywhere, anytime. It's designed to be a fun instant camera for weddings, parties, travel spots and everyday scenes and selfies. You can also use the photos for creative and decorating projects around the house or in a college dorm room.

The Instax Mini film features instant color pictures that are ISO 800 that produce sharp clear reproduction for vivid color, natural skin tones and super fine grain instant pictures. Instax Mini Film is credit-card sized 2x3 inches, with an image area of 1.8x2.4 inches. The film has a blank strip at the bottom so that you can write a message under the photo.

The new Instax Mini 70 goes on sale in November 2015 (in the US) in Canary Yellow, Moon White and Island Blue colors for a suggested retail price of $139.95. Instax Mini Instant film is sold separately for $19.95 (double pack with 20 exposures).
