Nikon issued an official service advisory this morning for its D750 in the wake of complaints from some photographers that the DSLR produces a dark shadowy band in images with lens flare.  The Nikon service advisory includes a way for photographers to check serial numbers for D750s that might be affected by the problem.

It’s 2016 and some Nikon D750 DSLRs are still experiencing problems. Nikon has issued yet another service advisory for the semi-pro, full frame DSLR this week, noting that a shutter shading problem that cropped up in July 2015 is now affecting more models.

Nikon just announced the new AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR lens. The new Nikkor 70-300mm lens features enhanced Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization capability and adds a stepping motor designed for fast and quiet AF performance, making it Nikon’s first full-frame AF-P lens.

Nikon announced the new LD-1000 LED Movie Light, an optional lighting accessory for Nikon 1 and COOLPIX cameras. The LD-1000 LED Movie Light is compact and lightweight, making it convenient to take anywhere. Additionally, it features a built-in diffusion panel, enabling natural, even exposure and smooth textures with soft light. For further versatility, the bracket can be removed from the movie light, allowing it to be held in the hand for free control over the angle of lighting.
