Shutterbug Photo of the Day

Our Shutterbug Photo of the Day by Rich Helmer features the rich green and purple tones of a cactus framed by the dark shadows of the rugged landscape.

“A long exposure of a colorful hedgehog cactus in the San Tan Mountains of Arizona well after a beautiful sunset,” writes Helmer.

This image was captured with a Nikon D90, Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm, ISO 200, f/10, 175 seconds.
