onOne Software, Inc., has announced that Mask Pro 4 -- the upgrade to
the company's digital image masking plug-in Mask Pro 3 -- will begin
shipping on November 18, 2006. Mask Pro 4 provides a complete collection of
Photoshop plug-in tools that allow users flexibility when tackling the most
challenging masking job. And this new version focuses on teaching the user how
to best use each comprehensive toolset for masking a wide range of images.

The Tamron "Make Your Mark: Landmarks--Natural or Manmade"
2007 Photo Contest was open to U.S. residents submitting any original photograph
prominently including a natural or manmade landmark that was taken with a Tamron
lens. The Grand Prize: A Tamron AF18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Aspherical LD Di II (IF)
Macro zoom lens in the DSLR mount of the winner's choice, plus having
the winning picture showcased in the Tamron Viewfinder newsletter, and in the
Gallery section of the popular Tamron website. In addition, twenty photographers
whose images were selected as Favorites would have their names and winning images
published on the website for all to admire.

Retired in Hawaii, I cling to my native Oklahoma "roots," especially since most of my family still lives there and despite being away from the state for years, I've maintained my Oklahoma drawl.

As an Okie, I've had a lifelong fascination with cowboys; my uncle and cousin were rodeo cowboys, and my new home, Hawaii, has a little-known history...

ATP Electronics Inc. has announced the release of a Class 6 ProMax SD High
Capacity SDHC 4GB memory card. This SDHC card, strictly following SD Association
(SDA) v2.00 specifications, has passed rigorous testings for Class 6 certification
at a recent SDA interoperability session performed by major camera manufacturers,
