The new EOS 20Da digital SLR is based on the EOS 20D camera and joins it as
a companion model in Canon's product line. The new EOS 20Da digital SLR helps
address the specific requirements of astrophotography with features such as
a live preview LCD and a modified low-pass filter optimized to help photograph
the clear night sky in brilliant detail. The EOS 20Da digital SLR will be available
in July at an estimated selling price of $2199.

Canon has expanded their line of multimedia projectors with three new models--
the REALiS SX6, REALiS SX60, and REALiS X600--designed to meet the needs
of professional photographers, business presenters and home cinema enthusiasts.
These new projectors feature Canon's proprietary Aspectual Illumination
System optical system for crisp, color-rich, intricately detailed images.

After appearing at times like it might bow out of the mirrorless camera market, Canon reaffirmed its commitment to the category tonight with the introduction of the new, top-of-the-line EOS M5. While the Canon M5 might resemble a DSLR, this compact interchangeable lens mirrorless camera is smaller and lighter than even Canon’s tiny SL1 DSLR, the company said.

Alongside its new EOS R full frame mirrorless camera system, Canon introduced four new RF lenses using Canon’s new RF mount for the R camera. The four new RF lenses feature a 54mm diameter mount and a shorter back focus distance than Canon’s current DSLR cameras.
