How to Create Amazing & Dramatic Black-and-White Images in Lightroom (FREE Presets)

Black-and-white photography is still incredibly popular and with good reason. There’s just something about a classic, black-and-white image that catches the eye.

And now, thanks to digital imaging, you can make pretty much any image into a black-and-white photo with the help of software. Of course, there are many ways to go about doing this.

In photographer Serge Ramelli’s video tutorial below, he shows you how to transform mundane color images into dramatic black-and-white shots using Lightroom and some of his handy, free presets. Watch the clip, where Ramelli shoots color photos of the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, and then converts them into stunning black-and-whites in Lightroom.
