The Kodak Scanza is a basic film/slide scanner that is well made, very easy to use, and capable of producing entry-level scans of your photos. It comes complete with a generous array of accessories and can save digitized images on an SD card or output them to a PC (or Mac) for storage or a TV for viewing.

Back in the day, Kodak offered Aerochrome color infrared film which produced false colors that were at once creative, exciting and borderline psychedelic. You can recapture the fun of this classic Kodak color IR slide film with the Kolari Vision IR Chrome filter ($79 in 49mm screw-in size) if you have a digital camera that has been converted to full-spectrum photography.

See the ladies paint their faces and prepare for their final performance. They blush as you watch them audition their most brilliant colors before fading to brown with a sigh that only the birds hear. The crisp autumn air deepens their beauty but loosens their grip as, one by one, they drift back to the ground from whence they came.

Laowa just released a 4mm f/2.8 circular fisheye lens in four mirrorless mounts and we’ve put one to the test. Here’s our hands-on review of this $199 fast prime.

Tamron just introduced the 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD fast-aperture, ultra-wideangle zoom lens for the Fujifilm X-Mount, and Shutterbug was able to take it for an extended spin. Although it covers more than 105° at the 11mm focal length, it features close-focusing down to 5.9 inches, prompting us to propose that it enables a wholly new type of photographic composition: Ultra-Wide Closeup.
