to be the highest-resolution tabloid-size flatbed scanner on the market today.
Designed for professional applications, the ScanMaker 1000XL is ideal for production

OP/TECH USA’s UTILITY STRAP– Sling Version offers rapid access to camera or binoculars while maintaining the security of a strap worn across the shoulder. Lyson, Inc., a leading provider of inks and media has introduced a bulk ink
feed system and bulk ink for Hewlett-Packard's popular Designjet 5000
and 5500 large format printers. The new Lyson bulk feed system features specially
modified REPLEO bulk ink cartridges with an everlasting chip. Lyson's
REPLEO ink sets are color matched to original OEM inks, in this case HP's
dye and pigment-based (UV) offerings, so there is no need to create new color
profiles.

Hasselblad has announced the launch of a new generation of raw processor, workflow
and camera control software, Phocus version 1.0 for Mac. Providing the ultimate
processing tool for Hasselblad digital images, the new Phocus RAW processor
is said to deliver perfect colors through the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution,
and includes digital lens corrections for color aberration, distortion and vignetting
(DAC I, II and III). Another key advantage and designed to save hours of post-production
work, Phocus's leading edge moiré removal technology allows image
detail to be preserved, even on extremely high resolution images. By automatically
removing moiré directly from the raw data, image quality remains intact,
while any need for special masking selections or other manual procedures is
eliminated.

Panasonic has introduced the new LUMIX 7.2-megapixel DMC-FX50 and DMC-FX07 digital
still cameras, and also the 6-megapixel DMC-FX3, the world's first to feature
Intelligent ISO Control (IIC) to correct image blurriness caused by movement of
the subject matter. The FX50 will have an MSRP of $399.95, the FX07 will have
an MSRP of $349.95 and the FX3 will have an MSRP of $279.95.

Adobe Systems Incorporated and Google Inc. today announced the Photoshop CS3
Extended plug-in for the Google 3D Warehouse, enabling Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended
users to take further advantage of the software's powerful compositing, painting
and image-editing toolset for editing 3D content. With the plug-in, users will
be able to query and download free 3D content from the Google 3D Warehouse,
Google's free online repository for 3D models and content, directly within Photoshop
CS3 Extended. 3D Content then can be placed, manipulated and used in composites
with the new 3D tools in Photoshop CS3 Extended.
