Coming this spring, the new Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 features
a Di optical system designed for both digital and film cameras. Di (Digitally

Tamron announced this morning it will introduce the new Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A041) lens for full-frame DSLR cameras. The new wide-angle zoom lens will be available in a Nikon mount on September 21, 2018 and in Canon mount October 12, 2018 at a suggested retail price of $1299.

Tamron unveiled the new the SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD (Model F045) for full-frame DSLR cameras this morning. The new fixed focal length "prime lens," which was announced as under development in February, is designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Tamron's SP Series lenses.

Tamron Co., Ltd. announced the development of a next generation 90mm Macro lens for full-size SLR cameras. The lens features completely redesigned optics, a proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation), and USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive). The SP 90mm F/2.8 Di VC USD will be available in Canon, Nikon and Sony mounts. The lens is expected to ship by the end of 2012. Pricing information will be announced at a later date.

2007 Photo Contest was open to U.S. residents submitting any original photograph
prominently including a natural or manmade landmark that was taken with a Tamron
lens. The Grand Prize: A Tamron AF18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Aspherical LD Di II (IF)
Macro zoom lens in the DSLR mount of the winner's choice, plus having
the winning picture showcased in the Tamron Viewfinder newsletter, and in the
Gallery section of the popular Tamron website. In addition, twenty photographers
whose images were selected as Favorites would have their names and winning images
published on the website for all to admire.

Tamron USA, Inc. announced the SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A007), the world's first full-size high-speed standard zoom lens equipped with VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization and USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive), with resolution at the top of its class, will be available starting April 26, 2012 in Canon mount with Nikon mount following. Delivery of the Sony mount version has not been released.

Tamron USA, Inc. has announced the release of the SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC LD Aspherical [IF] (Model B005), a high speed f/2.8 wide-to-moderate-telephoto zoom lens designed exclusively for Nikon-mount digital SLR cameras with smaller sensors and now featuring Tamron’s proprietary tri-axial Vibration Compensation (VC) mechanism that minimizes the effects of handheld camera shake. Tamron plans to introduce the lens in a Canon mount version shortly after the new Nikon mount version with built-in motor hits the market.

Sony full-frame mirrorless camera shooters are getting another lens option. Tamron just announced the 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD (Model A036), a high-speed standard zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, such as the recently launched Sony A7 III, and last year’s well-reviewed A7R III.
