Shutterbug Photo of the Day

Our Shutterbug Photo of the Day is a stunning close-up portrait of a white pelican by Lorenzo Cassina.

“This is Walter, an American White Pelican unable to be released to the wild due to his injuries, but he is loved, well cared, and free to roam around the large aviary at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida,” writes Cassina.

The image was captured with a Nikon D80, a Sigma 70-300mm lens, 1/125 sec, f/5.3, at ISO 250.
