Shutterbug Photo of the Day: “Horsetail Falls Ablaze!” by Scott Brenner

Our Shutterbug Photo of the Day by Scott Brenner reveals how the light of the setting sun transforms a waterfall into a flow of molten gold cascading down the rugged face of the cliff.

“I took this in Yosemite National Park. For a few weeks in February, the angle of the setting sun causes the falls to look like there is lava flowing from it,” writes Brenner.

This image was captured with a Sony A7R II and a Sony 70-200mm lens at 200mm, ISO 100, 1/25 sec, f/8.
