Change the Season or Weather in Nature Photos with Just 1 Click in Photoshop 2022 (VIDEO)

There are plenty of amazing features in the new Photoshop 2022. And while many folks are concentrating on the update’s powerful masking capabilities, there’s an incredible overlooked tool that works like magic with just one click.

Photoshop’s new Landscaper Mixer Neural Filter uses Adobe’s Sensei AI engine to automatically change the season or weather in outdoor photographs faster than you can say, “Turn summer into winter,” and today’s tutorial will show you how it works in less than three minutes.

Image-editing instructor Colin Smith of Photoshop Café begins with a nice image shot in the desert, and demonstrates how a simple click will transform the shot in a variety of ways. The trick involves automatically mapping one environment onto another while you sit back and take a sip of coffee.

Smith begins by clicking on the Filter tab at the top of the screen, and then selecting Landscape Mixer from the drop-down menu. From there he walks you through the ridiculously easy method for transforming virtually any outdoor scene in seconds.

You’ll see a bunch of built-in templates on the right of the new window, and Smith selects a grassy look to mix with his original mage. What was originally a barren desert photo now looks really verdant.

He next tries a wintry option, and by this time we hope you’ve fastened your seatbelts, because the one-click result is truly amazing. As you’ll see, there are a variety of tools beneath the templates that enable you to crank up the effect even further.

Smith also demonstrates how you can even use one of your own images, instead of the built-in options, to transform another landscape shot. And it’s just as easy to accomplish.

If your mind isn’t blown after watching this episode, head over to Smith’s YouTube channel for more tips and tricks. And be sure to check out another tutorial we posted recently, explaining how to add missing tools to your Photoshop toolbar and streamline your workflow.
