Looking for a little photography inspiration? Chelsea & Tony Northrup have a new video explaining three fun and easy photo shoots you can do in 10 minutes. And even more importantly, these simple photo projects will produce some eye-catching images you can replicate again and again.

Here’s a provocative short video to get you thinking today. In the 1.5-minute BBC clip below, renowned German film director and photographer Wim Wenders disparages “phone photography” and “selfies,” saying they may have killed photography as we know it.

Here’s a typical photo scenario: someone you know has an otherwise attractive portrait which, unfortunately, also includes an ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend in the shot. They want to keep the portrait of them but get rid of the now unwanted dude or gal in the shot. Knowing that you know a little something about Photoshop they come to you to, ahem, retouch the image.

The video portrait challenge where three photographers shoot the same model and then compare the results has been popularized by photographer Jessica Kobeissi on her excellent YouTube channel. Now photographer Sheldon Evans has gotten into the act and done his variation on this fun photography challenge, which you can see below.
