The PLUS Coalition has published the Universal Picture Licensing Glossary,
a free resource providing industry-standard definitions for more than 1300 terms
used in transactions involving photography and illustration. The new PLUS Glossary
is now online and available for use at the PLUS Coalition's newly launched
web site, www.usePLUS.org.

Casio, Inc.has released the newest model in its EXILIM digital camera series.
The new EXILIM PRO EX-P505 is equipped with a 5.0 megapixel imaging element and
a 5X optical zoom. It not only takes digital photos but is also capable of shooting
extended video scenes with high-image quality. The EXILIM PRO EX-P505 will be
available at retail the end of February, MSRP $499.99. The 5X optical zoom lens
has macro capability down to 1 cm, as well as aperture priority or shutter priority
automatic setting, along with manual exposure mode for completely manual operation.
The adoption of MPEG-4 technology enables full-scale high quality video shooting
in VGA size (640 x 480 pixels) at 30 frames per second. "Movie BEST SHOT"
allows the user to select from sample scenes for a wide range of shooting styles.
"Short Movie" lets users film short movies during a single shutter,
while other shooting and editing functions such as "MOTION PRINT"
can be used to obtain a still image from a movie.

Fine Art GmbH, recently announced the addition of two new inkjet papers. Designed
for creative digital artists, these new products are intended to meet the growing
requirements of the high-end digital artist who prints limited editions, giclees,
original digital art and the like. Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm maintains the same
surface characteristics as all the Photo Rag papers, but takes on a "satin"
or "luster" look where there is a printed image yet remain matte on
the perimeters. Photo Rag Satin is ideal for photographic and fine art reproduction
where a slight surface variation is desired. This paper works well with both
dye and pigment inks.

Delsey has cut out the bulk and crafted its line of GOPIX bags and cases around
the evolving technology and the user, providing carrying solutions that make
it easier to get up and go without being weighed down by a larger than necessary
bag. The new GOPIX 50 is suitable for compact digital cameras, video cameras
or even a CD player. The GOPIX 50 has enough storage for six CDs and features
external zippered side pockets and an opening for an earphone connection. The

In late August 2004, ILFORD Imaging USA Inc communicated that the accounting
firm Grant Thornton had appointed partners Mark Byers, Malcolm Shierson and
Les Ross as joint administrators of the UK parent company Ilford Imaging Limited,
and joint administrative receivers of our UK affiliate, Ilford Imaging UK Limited.
One of the major consequences of this action was the implementation of restructuring
plans at all ILFORD entities worldwide. The first round of these changes have
been completed.
