When we post time-lapse videos, they typically involve thousands of landscape or nature images, like the spectacular project we shared last spring that used 8TB of photos to capture the beauty of blooming flowers over a period of three years. 

Earlier this month we posted a fascinating video demonstrating all the technology that enables the shutter of a modern DSLR to open and close with remarkable speed and precision. We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: it’s not nice to buzz wildlife with aerial drones. In the latest incident of “when animals attack drones,” a chimpanzee at the Royal Burgers’ Zoo in the Netherlands can be seen swatting a pesky drone out of the air with a big stick in the below video.

Lots of people do dumb things with their imaging drones but this is one of the dumber – though oddly satisfying – clips we’ve seen.

Who says modeling isn’t a dangerous business? Photographer Ken Kiefer recently had several models swim in a watery reef full of crocodiles for an underwater “glamour” shoot, according to the New York Post.
