Trade in Your Old DSLR for a Samsung Camera at Hollywood Event with Nick Cannon and Julianne Hough

Photographers have a chance to make some history if they join Samsung, Nick Cannon and Julianne Hough for the Ditch Your DSLR event next week to potentially break a Guinness World Record.

After a stop in New York’s Times Square that drew large crowds, Samsung’s #DITCHtheDSLR day rolls into Hollywood on Tuesday with a chance for consumers to trade in a DSLR for the Samsung NX30 or an NX Mini SMART Camera. Participants can also witness an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest group "selfie" photo led by Nick Cannon and Julianne Hough.

Consumers that Ditch a DSLR (trade it in) will receive a new NX30 or NX Mini SMART Camera—while supplies last. In the afternoon, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles will join Samsung, Cannon and Hough in an attempt to break the selfie record. Samsung will donate $50,000 to the very worthy cause if the record is set.
