Rokinon unveiled two new high-speed, compact lenses today: the 21mm F1.4 wide angle and 50mm F1.2 portrait lens. Designed for mirrorless compact system cameras, these lenses are available in mounts for Sony E Micro 4/3, Fuji X and Canon M cameras in black or silver models.

Rokinon said that Cine versions of each of these lenses will be available in the near future for video shooting.

Fast, Wide and Prime: 21mm F1.4 Compact
The Rokinon 21mm F1.4 ED AS UMC Compact is a wide angle manual focus lens for APS-C sensor mirrorless cameras that’s designed for capturing landscapes and interior shots. It features eight precision glass elements in seven groups, including one Extra Low Dispersion lens (ED) and three Aspherical glass elements (ASP) to deliver high resolution corner to corner images.

The 21mm F1.4 also features a close focusing distance of only12”, and an internal focusing design, a non-rotating 58mm filter mount and Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) to optimize light transmission and minimize flare and ghost. Weight, length and diameter averages 9.9oz /2.66”/2.53” respectively which varies slightly depending on mount.

High Speed Portrait Prime – 50mm F1.2 Compact
The Rokinon 50mm F1.2 AS UMC Compact provides an angle of view that’s made for portrait and short tele use with APS-C sensor mirrorless cameras. It features an ultra-bright F1.2 aperture, a 9-blade diaphragm, nine precision glass elements in seven groups with two Aspherical glass elements (ASP) and Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) to deliver impressive bokeh with outstanding image quality. The 50mm F1.2 offers a non-rotating 58mm filter mount with weight, length and diameter averaging 13.5oz /2.91”/2.66” respectively which varies slightly depending on mount.
