Here's a Simple Trick to Help You Shoot Stunning Wide-Angle Photos (VIDEO)

Do your wide-angle photos always look a bit boring? Outdoor photographer Nigel Danson has a simple wide-angle photography trick that will help turn your dull landscape shots into stunning scenic vistas.

Danson says he employs this easy trick, which involves using the rear tilting screen on his camera, when trying to find the best composition with a wide-angle lens. He shot the video on location in the beautiful Lake District National Park in the UK and Danson walks you through how he visualizes a scene while using his rear LCD in front of a waterfall running down into a valley.

"I've arrived with this nice s-bend here for the water and then a valley in the distance," he explains at his first gorgeous location. "It's going to be a wide angle shot because I'm going to want to get a lot of this waterfall in the foreground so I've got my 14-30mm lens on and what I'm going to do is I'm just going to get my screen out like this and I'm going to just look around and see if I can find anything. Then when I've found the composition, I put my tripod down."

It's fun and enlightening to watch how an experienced landscape photographer visualizes a scene to find the best shot. The video is also worth a watch simply for the beautiful scenes of nature that Danson hikes through while capturing photos.
