Here Are 3 Images Shot with the Just Announced New Nikon Z5 Camera

Nikon has officially launched the new 24.3MP Nikon Z5, an entry-level FX-format (full frame) mirrorless camera designed for photo enthusiast photographers and "emerging creators." Nikon also announced it has expanded its NIKKOR Z lens lineup with the addition of the new compact and versatile NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 lens as well as two new Z TELECONVERTERS: TC-2.0X and TC-1.4X.

In addition to the new products, Nikon said it will soon release a beta version of Webcam Utility Software for many Nikon DSLR and Z series cameras. Initially available for Windows 10, the free software will allow compatible Nikon cameras to be used as webcams.

Nikon also released firmware update version 2.00 for the Nikon Z50, which adds animal detection AF and improvements to subject tracking, and firmware update version 3.10 for the Nikon Z6 and Z7, which adds support for the new Z TELECONVERTERS.
