While learning close up photography and macro, I came to learn that there are things called extension tube rings to save money. That's awesome! I used the 50mm lens coupled with 16mm and 10mm extension tube rings. Holding steady and using flash, I was amazed how close I could get to this house gecko. It's right front arm still has molting activity on it. Yes, I carefully placed this small guy on a cologne sample tube my girlfriend gave me, for scale. That is a 16 gig memory card for the background. I took this image from one of my online galleries. Enjoy!
