Celebrity Shooter Matthew Jordan Smith Shows You How to Take Great Portraits of Women (VIDEO)

Matthew Jordan Smith is a expert portrait shooter who has photographed some of the world’s most famous people in the U.S. and abroad. In the video below he explains how to make great portraits of women using a single light and an inexpensive white poster board.

When he’s not traveling Smith splits his time between New York and Tokyo, and his subjects have included everyone from the President of Iceland, Aretha Franklin and Oprah Winfrey to the richest man in the world Carlos Slim.

Smith is also an accomplished educator, having taught at the School of Visual Arts and the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico, and the video below is a unique opportunity to get his advice without leaving the comfort of your home. In the video Smith also shares some post-processing tips using Lucid software from Athentech.
