Canon has introduced its first telephoto zoom lens for its EOS R and EOS RP full-frame mirrorless cameras and it's a doozy: a RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM lens, which is equivalent to 10x of optical zoom.

Sony just launched its latest prime lens for its mirrorless cameras: the new Sony FE 35mm F1.8 lens. We got our hands on this new Sony FE lens prior to this morning's launch and had a chance to shoot with it for a few hours. Panasonic just announced the newest addition to its Lumix S camera series, the Lumix S1H, a full frame mirrorless camera aimed at photographers who are serious about shooting video. According to Panasonic, the SH1 is the "world’s first camera capable of video recording at 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio), 5.9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio), and 10-bit 60p 4K/C4K."

Here’s a quick camera tip from travel photographer Pierre T. Lambert that’s worth trying out. It often seems like we’re all addicted to reviewing our images on the back screen right after we take them. And, in fact, there’s a camera setting that lets you immediately review the shots for a few seconds on the LCD display on back. (Most of you probably have it on.)

Nikon just released free new firmware to upgrade its Z-Series full-frame mirrorless cameras: the 25.4MP Nikon Z6 and 45.7MP Nikon Z7. The new Nikon Z firmware adds a host of improvements to these two cameras including eye-detection autofocus (AF), better AF performance in low light, and auto-exposure tracking to continuous shooting high-speed (extended) mode, Nikon said.
