This is a photo of the eaves of the stacked roofs of the five storied Sensoji Pagoda in the Asakusa section of Tokyo, Japan. The temple was founded in 942 AD and rebuilt in 1648. It was burned in 1945 during World War II and rebuilt again in 1973. It is the site in Tokyo revered as the traditional culture of Japan. I found the colors to be captivating. Shot with my Nikon D600, Nikkor 24-120mm f/4 lens at ISO 450, 98mm, f/4 for 1/100 sec.
