Is there any way to photograph without the reflections on motorcycles and automobiles? Most finishes are very reflective. I'm using a digital slr and like to photograph outdoors.

There are only two methods that I am aware of. The easy one is to use a circular polarizer. The other is to place shields and absorbers in such a way as to reduce or eliminate the reflections, something that may be harder to do, depending on the circumstances.

One thing you can do is use dulling spray, or hair spray if you can't locate dulling spray. Another is to position black or white fabric so that the reflections can be controlled in what they reflect. I used white fome core for this motorcycle picture:
