I took this picture from about 25 miles south of the mountain that day,around Battleground,Wa. area. This image is from the original negative that I recently discovered in some old photos I had. I found 8 negatives of the original 36 I took that day,28 years ago. When I first got to this photo site, I could not see the mountain, it was completely covered in clouds and smoke,so I started to leave and turned around for one last look, and then the clouds and smoke parted , I shot a whole roll of film as fast as I could and then after a few minutes the mountain was gone from view again.
