Q. You mentioned the Canon 5D Mark III and its full-frame shooting capabilities in the June 2017 issue. I own a 5D Mark III and have noticed that when printing some of the photo is cropped, depending on the size (such as 11x14). I have printed at home and used print labs, and there is always a portion of the photo that is cropped. Is there a formula for getting the whole photo printed—either how the photo is shot, camera settings, software, etc.?
Now you can link your remote Canon or Nikon Flash to your Qflash/FreeXwire radio system. QLINK is the wireless radio solution that allows you to move your Canon or Nikon flashes off-camera and control them seamlessly with a Quantum Qflash TRIO or PILOT.
XOTOTPRO Photographic Equipment Ltd. introduces the QMM1 macro flash mount system and TUMAX macro twin flash units. The QMM1 is a new macro twin flash mount system designed to give flash support that is flexible, compact and easy-to-use. It can be either hand-held or mounted on a tripod. The QMM1 has a sturdy base plate machined from aircraft grade aluminum that can hold up to years of use. It has a 1/4-20 camera screw in the base plate that can mount almost any digital SLR camera.
Photographers can now trigger and quickly set ratios for three groups of radio controlled Qflashes and/or Trios. Set lighting ratios on the fly, right from your camera. Simply turn three controls on the CoPilot to instantly adjust lighting ratios as you shoot.
The
new Quantum Mini Folding Softbox QF69 is for shooting up-closes without the

Softbox QF 69 for very soft, diffused lighting.

Here’s a quick camera tip from travel photographer Pierre T. Lambert that’s worth trying out. And, in fact, there’s a camera setting that lets you immediately review the shots for a few seconds on the LCD display on back. (Most of you probably have it on.)
If you’ve ever tried capturing the natural beauty of a waterfall, you know that it’s not an easy task: The soft white water you observed through the viewfinder often takes on an ugly electric blue cast when photographed.
