Some folks like to personalize everything. With a custom case from PixCase you can protect your cell phone, iPod, or Blackberry while having a photo print prominently displayed on the outside of the case. This soft case with transparent cover includes a template to cut the photo or artwork to the proper size to fit. They list for $15.

SteadePod offers an entirely different method of stabilizing your camera. Simply attach this lightweight, small box to the tripod socket of any camera or camcorder. When you need extra-steady support, just move a switch to pull out a clip and unreel a strong coiled metal wire until the clip is at your foot, then step on it, pull up to place some tension on the cord, switch to lock and you will be able to take a steadier picture due to the extra tension provided. When done, move the three-position switch to retract and the wire slowly reels back into the housing.

The Steadicam Smoothee (Tiffen) is a handheld image stabilizer for use with the Apple iPhone 3Gs to steady handheld video. Lightweight, it features a durable mono-frame structure. The quick-release iPhone mount can be removed to serve as a tabletop stand or mounted to any tripod with a standard 1⁄4-20” thread. The ergonomic grip folds up when not in use. Want to scan and copy documents or photos anywhere anytime? With the Magic Wand portable scanner from VuPoint Solutions you can do just that. This small, battery-powered handheld device measures 1.2x1.1x10” and weighs about 7.5 oz with batteries. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software is included which converts and exports scanned files to your computer for editing. It can be adjusted for 300x300dpi for standard or 600x600dpi for higher resolution. There is a status LCD display, automatic white balance, and support for a microSD card. The MSRP is $129.
