SteadePod offers an entirely different method of stabilizing your camera. Simply attach this lightweight, small box to the tripod socket of any camera or camcorder. When you need extra-steady support, just move a switch to pull out a clip and unreel a strong coiled metal wire until the clip is at your foot, then step on it, pull up to place some tension on the cord, switch to lock and you will be able to take a steadier picture due to the extra tension provided. When done, move the three-position switch to retract and the wire slowly reels back into the housing.
