Images of Autumn: “Bottoms Up” by Stan Singer

This Image of Autumn by Stan Singer features the colors of autumn reflected in the water’s mirrored surface.

“This image was captured at an old quarry filled with water outside of Stockton, NJ. The reflection seemed more interesting to me than the actual trees since the water added a painterly impression of the scene. I purposely took the picture with the branch in the water to orient the viewer's eye” writes Singer.

This image was captured with a Nikon D200 with a Nikon 18-200mm lens (42mm), at f/16 for 1/50th of a second (-2/3 EV) and at ISO 250.
