The first rental website for Scenic Backgrounds by Westcott will be available online October 31, 2008. With over 100 backgrounds to choose from, these backgrounds will appeal to everyone including the high end professional, photo enthusiast and even the parent or scrapbook mom. The rental program will allow photographers creativitywithout the expense of investing in a lifetime commitment to a background. Rentals will list at $49.99 for a 5’X6’ and $69.99 for the 6’X8’ line. Customers can save $20.00 with a coupon from their local participating dealer and the postage-paid packaging is provided to return it.

WD has introduced its newly redesigned My Book World Edition network storage drive, simplifying the critical but tedious task of backing up an entire household's precious files. Designed for consumers who have multiple computers on a home network, the new drive will be available in 1 terabyte and 2 terabyte capacities, and is compatible with PC and Mac computers. 

My Book World Edition network drives are designed to automate and simplify the backup chore. Just plug the My Book World Edition drive into a network router, click a few buttons and the My Book World Edition storage device backs up the files from all the PCs and Macs on the network. Any changes to the files on these computers are automatically and continuously backed up to the drive.

On Sunday, the 30th of November 2008 the fourteenth WestLicht Photographica Auction was ended successfully. The most recent auction was able to hold the high standards of previous auctions both in total turnover as well as the percentage of sold lots. Over 90 per cent of the total of 917 lots were auctioned for a total of more than one million Euros.

For this year's auction we have succeeded in being able to offer a selection of around 600 lots of the highest quality in our Vienna auction house. As with our previous auction numerous unique cameras and classics of photographic history that will appeal equally to institutional collections, dealers and private collectors with a feeling for something special are to be auctioned.

The WestLicht Photographic auction is now available for online bidding. The auction is Saturday, May 23rd 2009. OLED technology generates greater color depth and saturation than other displays, viewed on panels that are substantially thinner, resulting in a sleek, low-profile design.

The new KODAK OLED Wireless Frame also features built-in Wi-Fi technology that expands the user’s experience by enabling access to pictures, videos and music stored on PCs in other rooms, as well as connectivity to online photo and video sharing sites and Internet content portals for news, weather, sports and more.

At the heart of the new KODAK OLED Wireless Frame is an ultra-thin, 7.6-inch diagonal digital panel that produces stunning image detail, when viewed from any angle.
