"Mirrorless" new camera intros are outstripping new DSLR intros three to one.
My next camera will be a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera.

I still prefer the form factor of the DSLR.

I like the idea of mirrorless, but I have so many lenses for my DSLR I'll have to stick with that format.

A number of companies offer so-called "tough" weatherproof/waterproof cameras.
I engage in activities that would make it make sense to use one, or I already own one.

A number of photo schools still teach black and white film developing and printing.
I don't believe this helps photo students as digital is the future.

It's a good idea as it creates a foundation for a greater understanding of photography.

At the recent Consumer Electronics Show a number of camcorders and cameras with built in WiFi were introduced.
This is an appealing feature and will be an important factor in choosing a camera/camcorder.

Please comment briefly on your experience with image stabilization lenses in low light, with slow shutter speeds or when doing macro work.
Do you think that the stabilization trend in lenses will lessen the use of tripods for you?
Yes, with an image stabilization lens tripods are only necessary in rare instances.
8% (55 votes)
No, regardless of using image stabilization lenses, there’s simply no substitute for the image quality you get by using a tripod
28% (183 votes)
I would use both, as each has its purposes and one doesn’t necessarily cancel the use of the other.
