Call them what you will – ultra-wides or super-wides – I love ‘em. By covering a breathtaking expanse, these types of extreme wide-angle lenses are not only capable of capturing most landscapes, they also help sweep you into that landscape, making you feel a part of the scene in the process.

Olympus just announced the Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 300mm f4.0 IS PRO lens for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras at the CES 2016 show in Las Vegas today. In something of a surprise, Nikon announced at the CES 2016 show today in Las Vegas that it’s entering the competitive action camera market with several forthcoming products. The first in Nikon’s new action camera lineup will be the oddly named Nikon KeyMission 360, a rugged camera capable of “recording true 360-degree video in 4K UHD allowing users to share new perspectives and explore imagery like never before,” Nikon said in a press statement.

Nikon just unveiled the new Nikon D500, a prosumer DSLR with a new 20.9-megapixel, DX-format (i.e. crop/APS-C size) CMOS sensor. The Nikon D500 was just officially announced and here are some important details about the new DSLR.

Nikon just launched its latest flagship professional DSLR at the CES 2016 show in Las Vegas, NV. Called the Nikon D5, it features a 20.8-megapixel full frame sensor along with Nikon’s new Expeed 5 image processor.
