Fujifilm just introduced the new Fujinon XF16mm F1.4 R WR, a weather-resistant, fixed focal length lens (24mm in 35mm format equivalent) for its X-series mirrorless cameras. The F1.4 maximum aperture in the XF16mm is designed to provide high image quality in low-light conditions, and beautiful bokeh-rich macro photography with a minimum working distance of less than six inches for a variety of shooting possibilities.

Panasonic has introduced the HX-A1, a wearable, ultra-compact, POV action camcorder that weighs just 1.6 ounces. The small, portable design allows for longer periods of recording scenes in Full HD while the HX-A1’s rugged structure keeps water and dust out and protects against impact and cold temperatures.

For this month’s assignment, we asked you to post images that exemplified what famed French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson called “the decisive moment,” i.e., real-life subject matter that’s captured neither too early, nor too late, but at the peak of emotion and expression.
