I've been waiting eagerly for the release of the E-510. I was SURE I wanted an olympus slr because of the shake reduction, 4/3rds lenses and previous good experience with point-and-shoot olympus digitals. But this month, Consumer Reports released some testing results on different digital lenses and SLAMMED the Zuikos. They rated well below all other brands tested in every category. Was their testing faulty? I'm on a tight budget. Whatever SLR I buy, I'll have to start with the kit lense(s). Is there a good reason to stick with my desire for Olympus in spite of these results, or is it time to reconsider?
Thanks for any input you can offer.
