Zenfolio Goes International
Zenfolio recognized a void in the global market for a comprehensive solution that combines a state of the art multi-currency shopping Cart with an elegant photo viewing experience, and brings a complete solution to photographers outside the United States. Photographers can use Zenfolio to establish their entire Web presence and easily customize it without the need for HTML or CSS knowledge, or they can use Zenfolio as a proofing and ordering tool in addition to their existing Web site.
As part of the global launch Zenfolio is now integrated with the Europe’s leading UK-based photo printing lab: Photobox. Part of the Photoways Group, Photobox is the largest online processing service in Europe.
The top of the line Zenfolio Premium plan offers a breadth of features for a remarkably low fee of 100 USD per year. Photographers enjoy unlimited storage, large images on elegant pages, personalized security settings, customized price lists, and coupons. The shopping process is transparent to clients, who experience the ease and simplicity of ordering online and receive a package delivered directly from a print lab. Zenfolio also offers Basic and Unlimited plans priced with non-commercial members in mind.
Zenfolio realizes photographers are running a business and its e-commerce engine is built with that mindset. In addition to the list of products available from Zenfolio partners, photographers can sell custom products and fulfill them directly using any lab. The profits from selling are distributed via PayPal at the photographer’s request.
Zenfolio charges a service fee to cover the costs of collecting payments, fulfilling orders, generating files, and providing customer service. At this time, the Web site is available in English only and is set up to support 18 currencies and VAT, where applicable.
With this expansion, Zenfolio is empowering photographers worldwide to launch their business into a global online marketplace.
