Which Lighting Kit

I cant find a catagory for this so I'll try here.
Ok, hope I'm not wearing out my welcome with the light set-up questions lately, just trying to not have to sell and buy again in the near future.

Any comments...the good, bad and ugly of it!! I am looking for studio lights only, I already have what I use for portable shoots. 95% will be of single ppl or couples, some small families once inawhile. I will use my pocket wizard multis to trigger them so I do not need a manufactures wired/wireless set-up. If I went with the WL above I would also have to buy a softbox. I want a boom too but I can get that seperate.

Any othe suggestions in the under 2 grand range would be great.(I could stretch it to a bit over 2 grand if there is a must have for the price kit out there, but not much over). I am looking into 3 light set-ups as you can see. I am not interseted in Alien Bees, been there sold that.

The White Lightning people also have a less expensive line called Alien Bees:

But $2,000 is a nice figure to work with. My 1000 watt, two head Dyna-lite kit cost less then that.

From your list, I would be the Calumet monolights. From outside your list, I would look at used Speedotron Force monolights - they are tough and reliable. Also, Elinchrom monolights are exellent, with nice controls and excellen sensitive slave eye. I use both. I like them both. Leave $ for Pocket Wizard Radio remotes ?

Consider USED lighting! There is so much out there.

George, why did the AB units fail in your application?

The Calumets are made by Bowens, and they've proven very reliable in service here for over a decade. So if you see a used Bowens, consider it - all Calumet light modifiers interchange with it too.
I do have to ask also - what is it about that AB's wouldn't work for you? I know plenty of folks who are happy with them, so I'm curious what the downside is...
