For christmas, i got a canon point-and-shoot camera for school, but it doesn't give me the options and flexibility i need. So i'm going to return it and buy a D-SLR. This will be my first SLR, so i really don't need anything too robust.
So, i've been looking at these four camera's mostly:
Olympus E-300 (Dual lense kit)

Olympus E-500 (Single lense kit)

Nikon D50 (single lense kit)

Pentax *ist DL (body only)

I'm leaning more towards the Olympus camera because it comes with 2 lenses, but im' not sure.
I was also offered a used Fujifilm Finepix S2 Pro. i'm not sure how much better (or worse) it is compared to the other 4 cameras i've listed but it will cost me around $1300 and thats out of my price range. is it worth the extra cost over these other cameras?
