I'm thinking about taking a film photography class at my local community college. I own a D700 and have a variety of lenes. I've been looking at used Nikon bodies, N90s and the F100. Is the F100 worth 4x the cost of the N90s? I'm not serious about film. I'm a digital photographer right now, but I still want to do well in class.

Well, being a Canon freak, I don't know anything about Nikon bodies. But, what I'd recommend is (1) talk to the course instructor and see if he has any recommendations and possible sources for a good body; and, (2) look online at KEH (keh.com), the most reliable source of used equipment I know of.
Good luck...
