Weather tight digital camera needed

Hi:

I am going to be taking a job this Spring in which I need a camera that is weather tight (i.e. can be used in showers etc.) I have never used a D-SLR before. I am currently using Fuji S-5100. I really need for this camera to have a long zoom like 8x or 10x or similar in D_SLR lens. I only have $1000 total to spend between everything that would be needed (i.e. new memory cards if it doesn't use xD cards, battery packs, flash unit etc.) Oh and it need to be at least 4 mega-pixel if not more and able to use a flash unit mounted to top of camera.

Given your requirements, you can't put a limit on the $$ without doing the research first.

Do a search on Google for Underwater Housings and look at the manufacturer's web sites for cameras they develop housings for. That will give you a starting point in your research.
