I think I got the name right on that. My Mom and Dad are collectors of old cameras and my mom wanted me to track down this flash for my Dad for Father's Day. If anyone is selling one or knows where I can get one decent shape. I guess these are older flashes so I understand they may not be in great shape. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Carey, You aren't very specific about what type of camera the flash is for. Could you post the model name and serial number and perhaps someone could help identify the year of manufacture? Then, hopefully, we could determine the correct flash that would be appropriate for the year the camera was made.
But as a general rule, it's likely you can't go wrong with a Graflite battery case, which have a brushed aluminum finish and, because they were produced for almost 30 years, they can be found in abundance on eBay or used dealers, often very inexpensively.
You may want to steer clear of the earlier chrome-finished shiny Graflex 3-cell which is in demand right now because a variation of it can now be seen in a popular film and the prices on eBay are starting to rise again for this flash.
Or are you really a Jedi Knight hoping that a camera collector is willing to part with one of these flashes for cheap money? And is the "Father's Day gift for Dad" story not quite as honest as you would have us believe? No shame in just saying so if what you really want to do is make a saber. Honesty is always the best policy in all of our affairs.
Unfortunately, you will have to pay the going price for Luke's ANH or Anakin's ROTS 3-cell right now. Camera collectors know what these things are worth and you won't find one for short money. Sorry, but that's going to be a reality in whatever Galaxy you might find yourself soaring through.
I know this is a 7 year old thread, but I am laughing out loud reading the reply from "jack5541". It's so obvious that the OP was hoping to "pull a fast one" in his seach for a light saber. My favorite bit was "I think I got the name right on that one"....like he's never even HEARD of the name "graflex"! He could have at least spelled it with two L's to let a little more authenticity to the story.
Good one!
