for the first time i tried shooting in raw format everything was black no picture at all. I am using cannon rebel xt 350d with an exstream111 1g compact flash. What did i do wrong? They were out door pictures.
Did you see images on the LCD after capture? I don't use Canon, but I can suggest that you need to give more information than just the camera model and CF card name. Like whether the camera works when shooting JPEG and what the settings were that you used.
larry sorry the reply is slow but i found out it was the operator of the camera, now if we could only get rid of him i think the pictures would be great lol.
LOL! Yep, that's usually the problem behind most of my poor shots too. Don't just chuck the user though; users can be trained, as I've discovered myself... 
I have a Nikon D80 and use ACDSee to edit and work with my photos - I had to download a patch to the program before I could see the RAW images and once I did that became the image of choice as it gives you a ton of workable information.
