Ultra Large Format Sheet Film Availability

Harman technology Limited, manufacturer of ILFORD black and white photographic products, is once again opening a sales window for its ultra large format (ULF) sheet film products.

This allows ULF photographers to order sheet film in selected sizes from the ILFORD black and white range without the constraints of the usual minimum order quantities (M.O.Qs). Instead, Harman will combine orders from participating dealers across the world to ensure production runs remain viable.

Steven Brierley, Director of Marketing at Harman, said, "It is vitally important for us tosupport users of large format sheet film. By amalgamating world-wide orders on an annual basis it allows us to make a viable production of large format sheet film or custom sizes once a year, and providing the volumes are sufficient we are happy tocontinue doing so."

The ordering window opens on Monday 30th April and will run until Friday 22nd June 2012.

After the closing date, Harman will manufacture the items at its factory in the UK with a view to shipping orders to arrive with dealers in September*. Specific products covered include FP4 PLUS and HP5 PLUS in sizes up to 20 x 24 inches and ORTHO PLUS in hard to find sizes such as 18cm by 24cm.

New for 2012 is the availability of DELTA 100 PROFESSIONAL sheet film in 6 sizes. Also available for the first time are rolls of FP4 PLUS 10in x 100ft, and HP5 PLUS 8in x 100ft. These two items are finished from 35mm film base and cannot be made to a No Minimum Order Quantity. For viable production of each size orders for a minimum, and multiples of 8 rolls need to be accumulated to commence manufacture.

Please Note: ULF orders for ORTHO PLUS products will not ship ex-factory before September 2012 arriving with dealers in October.

I don't think Film is still

I don't think Film is still 'in' for today's photography. We are in new generation and we are using digital now. But this manufacturer of ILFORD has a great name is photography. - Missed Fortune
