If you want a bit of entertainment, the much ballyhooed SIDEWAYS film is now on DVD. It is an all too modern comedy set into a very pretty travelogue that was filmed in my neighborhood. In fact a bowling alley in the film is just a short walk from my home, and at least a couple of times a week I drive through many of the scenes in the movie. Trivial, yes, but a very nice place to visit especially if you like to photograph pastoral, vineyard scenes. Even more entertaining than the film I'm afraid, which I found only mildly amusing.
