I am leaving for an African safari in a week. Unfortunately, I am flying through Heathrow. I already purchased 50 rolls of 35mm ASA 400 and 800 color print film. I am going by American Airlines so I can get the film there in my carry on bag. Coming home I am going via British Air so no carry on bags are allowed. I have contemplated sending the film home via Fedex before I leave South Africa but Fedex staff on the phone can't give me a straight answer about whether they now x-ray every package. I welcome other suggestions as to how to get exposed film home safely.
