hello everyone.
just got myself the e-500 and been shooting in raw.
i cant seem to transfer the raw files from my camera to my
computer. jpeg's etc will get transfered into my pc but i
cant work out why raw files wont. ive got cs2 and thats where i want the raw files to go. they will download into
the olympus master software but thats a bit slow, i want to view them in bridge, but its getting them onto my pc from my camera thats confusing me. any help would be kindly appreciated,, thank you..phil

sounds as if you need to go to the Oly site and down;oad the ORF program. It's free. Once loaded, ypu go to file import ORF, at least in PSE 4.0.

It does work in CS2 but I don't recommend using it. Please see my previous post and the reply by David Brooks. If you want to get the best results use Oly software for raw conversion and then some other package such as CS2 for levels etc.
