Think Tank Photo has introduced a backpack specifically configured to hold large telephoto lenses, multiple SLR bodies and a laptop computer, and still fit within a standard airline overhead storage compartment. The new Airport Addicted pack is designed so that airport security staff can quickly inspect all equipment in the bag without having to dig through multiple compartments. It includes a removable 15-inch laptop, a seam-sealed removable rain cover, and comfortable shoulder straps that tuck away for storage.

Other features include a simple monopod/tripod mounting system, lockable zipper sliders, and stretchable front and side pockets for storage of cell phones, clothing, water bottles, and other personal items.

To aid photographers in getting their gear through the airport and safely onto the plane, Think Tank Photo has posted a free article entitled "Fear for your gear while running through the airport." Filled with advice from noted photojournalists, this article can be found at www.thinktankphoto.com/airport.
