tamron lenses

Hello,i am currently using a Tamron 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 LD Tele-macro(1:3.9).I've read the specs on the similar Tamron 70-300 with a dedicated macro "mode" and a maco rating of 1:2,and was wondering if any of you have used one....

Hi
I have been using the AF70-300mm f/4-5.6 LD macro 1:2 for several mounths now on my D70 and have been very pleased with the macro results.

I have this lens too. It's awfully "touchy" - the slightest bobble in manual mode, and I've got a blurred shot. Maybe it's the lens - or my ineptitude - or both. I haven't been as happy with this Tamron lens as I was with the Sigma lenses.
