Hi all

I going to Europe for about a month with a Nikon D80. Current lenses are 18 - 135 Nikon kit lens, 12 - 24 Tokina, & a somewhat older 70 - 300 mm Nikon lens. Does anyone know about the quality of this new Tamron lens? If it is good enough I can leave two lenses home & have a lot less to carry & fewer instances of having to swap lenses.
